Today I went to visit Thor and Samantha at her house.  I dropped off a bag of food that The Gaskins Family donated to her. (The Gaskins adopted Thor's brother, Chance)  I also brought her a card that all the people who love and know Thor signed.  She loved it.

I took some pictures with my camera since most of her pictures were taken with her phone camera.  He was sure happy to see me.  I was worried he was going to hurt himself because he wanted to jump around and give me hugs and kisses.  So I sat on the ground and let him tackle me and lay with me and his mom.

His incision is healing VERY well.  But Sam is still really unhappy with the vet and we were talking about the legal action she may be able to take.  Thor, Samantha, her family, and I thank everyone for your well wishes and prayers...we are convinced that's why he's healing so well.  Thank you!

Thor is home now, and he is eating like he's never eaten before.

He's very thin still, and looks a little bit defeated because of the e-collar he has on.  The doctor says he has to keep the cone on for at least 10 days.

Samantha has to keep Thor relatively sedated because he's so active and he wants to still jump and run and be a crazy boy, but she doesn't want him to hurt himself.  Sometimes when he's sedated he drags his feet on the ground and it's funny but sad at the same time.

I'm sure there are some of you out there wondering who this Carissa Jarvis person is.  Well, let me tell you.

I am Carissa Jarvis, and I have 2 separate relationships with Thor and his mom, Samantha.  First I was Thor's foster mom, through the Valley Dogs rescue.  Sam adopted Thor from me in August.  Second, Thor is also my student.  I am a professional dog trainer and Thor has completed his basic curriculum and is currently enrolled in Intermediate training.  Samantha has big plans for him and obedience is very important to her.

I hold both Samantha and Thor very close to my heart and I see them on a weekly basis and try to be there for them as much as a good friend can.
